Summary
I woke up around 10AM. I feel like after I am being consistent and in the habit of working out, I should focus on having a set sleep schedule. Other than that, it was raining today. I decided to do my YAYOG program. Upon finishing and getting ready to go outside, I felt the raining hitting my face. I stood there on the porch debating whether I should just go back inside or just run. I decided to just run. A little rain wouldn’t stop me from my progress in being consistent. As the wind hit my face, I started wondering if these workouts are actually going well. I haven’t been actually tracking my calories that much. Heck, I haven’t even been seeing if I’m reaching my “macros”. Nonetheless, I’m going to take it one step at a time.
I felt good. I have to say that I’m slowly getting used to running outside. With everything going on, I do get a little paranoid that a car is watching me and just waiting to kidnap me or something. No matter where you are, you must be on guard for anything can happen even in the most unexpected place. I got home and decided that I was going to break this faster. After all, I was fasting for 21 hours. I grabbed 4 dates and chewed on them. I can’t believe I’m starting to love these. They do taste like raisins but a little more drier, if that makes any sense.
My mom came into my room telling me there is a lot of eggs in the room. Last night, I told her that I was going to buy 5 dozen eggs. I don’t think she knows I was attempting to eat a dozen eggs per day and then do a complete dry fast for 48 hours to lower my cholesterol levels. Unfortunately, I hate blood work so I wouldn’t even know how my levels are. I went in the kitchen to look at these eggs. As expected there wasn’t a lot, but I took action on grabbing at least 6 eggs. There was yellow tail fish made so I wanted to add eggs with it as well. I saw in a YouTube video the other day with a guy eating oats and banana. I went into the pantry to grab the Quaker plain oats that I haven’t touched in forever. I proceed to throw sliced banana inside with Hershey drizzle. I was craving some kind of sweet. I have to say… it tasted horrible.
My stomach was a little full. Actually, it’s those moments when the food is good and you reach the point where you’re just trying to stuff it down. It’s not enjoyable and every bite makes you want to just cringe. Oh well. That’s my meal for the day. I did, however, drop 2lbs from yesterday. I’m starting to just not let the scale get to me too much. I expect it to go up and down each day.
